How fast are forex IB rebate payouts?

Daily. Rebates are calculated on your clients' trading activity and paid out on time — you're not waiting until month-end to find out what you earned or when it arrives.

That's the whole answer, so let me use the rest of this page for the part that's more useful: why payout speed matters more than most people account for, and what to look for in any programme you're considering.

Why the cycle matters more than the rate

Payout frequency looks like an administrative detail next to the headline rebate rate. It isn't, for two reasons.

Cash flow. If you're spending anything to grow — ads, events, content, your own time — a monthly cycle means funding that gap out of pocket. Depending on when in the cycle you spend, you could be waiting weeks to be reimbursed for activity that already worked. Daily payouts mean the money from what worked last week is available for what you try this week. For a partner reinvesting into growth, that difference compounds quickly.

Feedback speed. This one's underrated. A monthly statement tells you what happened, once, weeks after you could have done anything about it. Daily numbers tell you which channel converts while the campaign is still running. Being able to see on Wednesday that Monday's approach worked is worth a great deal more than finding out on the 3rd of next month.

What to check in any partner agreement

Whoever you end up partnering with, mine or anyone else's, these are the questions worth asking. Vagueness on any of them is the signal.

How often are rebates calculated, and how often are they paid? Not the same question. Some programmes calculate daily but pay monthly.

Is there a minimum payout threshold? Common trick. A programme with a $100 minimum means a partner earning $40 a month waits nearly three months, and sees nothing at all in the early period when encouragement matters most.

What happens to unpaid balances if you stop? Some agreements forfeit accrued rebates if you go inactive or leave. Read that clause specifically.

Can the rate change without notice? Ask what notice you get.

Are there clawbacks? Circumstances where paid rebates get reversed. Some are legitimate — genuine fraud, bonus abuse. Some are broad enough to be a liability. Ask for specifics.

Can you see the underlying data? If you can only see a total, you're taking their word for it. You should be able to see which clients traded and what volume they generated.

Why some programmes are slow

Not always sinister, but worth understanding.

Some brokers hold rebates as a working-capital float — your money sitting on their balance sheet for a month is cheap financing. Some genuinely have manual reconciliation processes and can't do better. And some use the delay as a retention mechanism: a partner with a month of accrued rebates is a partner who can't easily leave.

What daily actually gets you

Practically: every client you refer is tagged to you from signup, and your registrations, funded accounts and rebates update every day. You can check on any given morning and see exactly where you stand — no month-end statement, no taking anyone's word for it.

It also means you find out fast if something's wrong. Tracking problems are the most common failure in this industry — a referral that doesn't get attributed, a client tagged to the wrong partner. On a monthly cycle you discover that weeks later, when reconstructing what happened is nearly impossible. Daily, you spot the gap and we fix it while the trail is fresh.

That, more than the cash flow, is the real argument for daily numbers.
